With the overwhelming power it will take to run Final Fantasy XIII, Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase confirmed that the 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII will ship on multiple discs, as previously thought. Well that was a big shocker.

This is not the final count as were still working on it, but were aiming for about three discs for the Xbox 360 version, he stated when talking about the number of discs. After that, he then when on to assure that the two versions of the game will be practically identical, although he did concede that there will be subtle differences between the two.

The 360 version and the PS3 version should be pretty much equal, both in terms of content and the visuals as well, he continued. Since the hardware is different, there might be some subtle differences if you compare screenshots side by side, but the teams being very careful about the compression of the data and the visuals, so that its exactly the same on both.

Well im glad to see everyones favorite little big planet game is back and on the PSP it makes me remember all the fun i had on the PS3 while playing the original game.

Complaints about the PSP-3000′s much hyped LCD screen. Apparently, some games and videos are popping up interlaced, where the image breaks into line segments. The issue seems to center on fast moving objects.

Sony Computer Entertainment America offered the following statement: “On some occasions, scan lines may appear on scenes where brightness changes drastically, due to the hardware features of the new LCD device on PSP-3000. Installed with this new LCD device, PSP-3000 offers more natural and vibrant colors on its screen, but the scan lines have come out to be more visible as a result of improving response time to alleviate the afterimages on PSP-3000. Since this is due to hardware specification, there are no plans for a system software updates concerning this issue.”

Looks like the new psp isnt all that we thought.

So the game in everyones mind right now is little big planet. Developer Media Molecule is dedicated to Sony’s platform with LBP, but might they consider bringing the game to their handheld system in some form? Like the PSP.

The PSP has been notoriously lacking in exciting new releases lately, and a portable LBP seems like it would be absolutely huge. So it’s not much of a stretch to think that Little Portable Planet has crossed the minds of Sony execs at some point.

But what could a PSP version of the game be? Hopefully Media Molecule wouldn’t expect you to buy the PSP version to create music.

But either way bringing this game to the PSP would certainly make it better. Because in reality the PSP’s future is not looking so good and plus with the new Nintendo DS coming out its only a matter of time before the PSP dies.
