Treyarch is also getting in on 4th of July celebrations in the US with a double XP weekend event for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii versions of Call of Duty: World at War. This isn't restricted to the US too; it's worldwide. The event will kick off on July 3 at 10 AM PST and will run until July 6, 10 AM PST. On the same day as the double XP event starts, there will also be a playlist update to incorporate the Map Pack 2 maps into the main Core and Hardcore rotations. The Map Pack playlist will still be open for those who want to play only on the Map Pack 2 maps, though. PS3 gamers will also get to compete with other games in the PS3 Weekend Warrior (no relation to our own WWs) Competition over the weekend. The schedule's below.
